1200 Calories: Not For Everyone
Well I’m here to tell you, from my personal experience and from seeing it around me, 1200 calories is not the magic number. It is not for everyone and it is certainly not sustainable for everyone.
Did I lose a crap ton of weight? Yes. But, I was hangry ( hungry+angry=bad combination), miserable and exhausted all the time. I was also absolutely freezing, had many sleepless nights, lost a lot of muscle mass, and it had negative impacts on my hormonal health. The list can go on and on.
To get successful and sustainable results, extreme is not the way to go. Everyone is different and there are many factors that go into losing, maintaining and/or gaining weight.
Doing research and finding what works best for you in the long term is the best route to follow for long lasting nutritional health.
